Kick-off Post
Well I'm really excited to get this first post into the blog. I owe some credit to Julie for inspiring me to do this. It took awhile to get there but we are there and that's the important part. My desire of this blog is to create an environment for parents who are reading Parenting with Love and Logic to bring their questions, comments and ideas to share with other parents. This is meant to be a safe environment where all ideas and views are accepted and to truly try and help one another through the role of parenting.

I am excited to see a site that can actually be helpful. I am currently reading Love and Logic with my husband. There are times when I feel like I should have read the book before I had children. I feel like a failure when I realize how damaging I've been to my daughter.
I'm sure you are a great parent Julie and trust me there are a 1,000 times a day that we can all look back with 20/20 vision.
It is just hard to see what damage we've done and how much work we have in front of us to continue to raise her in a surrounding that will help her become a responsible young person. I love her so much and want her to make sound decisions but I see how often I take the decision making process away from her.
